Blood Moon announces voice-over collaboration with 20th Century Fox

In March of 2006, 20th Century Fox hired Blood Moon, based on its specialization in biographies associated with new
twists on Hollywood history, to craft and deliver voice-over commentaries linked to the digitalization and re-release, in
DVD,  of four classic films dating back to the Golden Age of Hollywood.

During March and April of 2006, Blood Moon scripted and recorded the voice-overs for

  1.        Deadline USA,  with Humphrey Bogart
  2.        Call of the Wild (1935), with Loretta Young and Clark Gable
  3.        The Rains of Ranchipur (1955), with Lana Turner and Richard Burton
  4.        Soldier of Fortune (1955), with Clark Gable and Susan Hayward.

Audio commentaries ("voice-overs") for each of these films were supplied by either Darwin Porter or Danforth Prince,
with Michelle Darling functioning as the audio engineer.   The focus?  Insider information about the stars, their sweat,
their tears, their frustrations, and their foibles during the filming of these Hollywood classics.

These voice-overs were released to the general buying public in November of 2006 under ISBN 024543264842

Humphrey Bogart
The Making of a Legend
by Darwin Porter
A juicy saga of a film icon's early love affairs, revealing what really lay under the
trench coat of history's most famous movie star.  This is a radical expansion of one
of Darwin Porter's earlier Bogart biographies, incorporating a wider timeline--in this
case, the years between Bogart's birth in 1899 until his marriage to Lauren Bacall
in 1944.  This revelatory book is based on dusty, unpublished memoirs, letters,
diaries, and often personal interviews from the women, and the men, who adored
him,  There are also shocking allegations from colleagues, former friends, and jilted
lovers who wanted him to burn in hell.  All this, and more, much more, in a book
guaranteed to make you re-think some widespread assumptions about the good
old days in Golden-Age Hollywood.
